The Orla - Slate and Gold

The strikingly beautiful Orla is the latest addition to the Mona Marnell Christmas tree collection.
 
It is a contemporary stand alone piece but works equally well paired with the driftwood grey Orla. They are the perfect gift for someone who enjoys original, handmade decorations.
 
Having selected and cut the opaque glass, Mona embellishes the surface with a striking, textured gold design before kiln firing it in her studio kiln for 24hours. The tree comes with a handmade, white washed, wooden stand that adds to its contemporary feel.
 
Every piece in the collection is designed, made and signed by Mona so you can be sure of its authenticity.  As with everything handmade each tree is unique so there may be slight variations between pieces which is part of the charm of buying  from a maker.
 
In its base the tree stands approximately 27cms high.
